Maurice Incerti Scholarship


Maurice Incerti:

This Scholarship is in honour of Maurice Incerti who sadly lost his battlewith cancer in 2008. 

Maurice was the Chief Executive Officer of Murray Dairy from 1996 - 2008. 

He was an extremely passionate advocate of the dairy industry and
contributed  to its development in many ways during his 12 year involvement.

In memory of Maurice Incerti, funded by  Murray Dairy and Dairy Australia
the scholarship will provide one applicant within the Murray Dairy region
with an $8000 scholarship.

The Scholarship must aim to provide benefit to the dairy industry in the Murray Dairy region. 

It could take the form of a study, study tour, research or any combination that will advantage dairying in the region.

Scholarship Criteria:

  • Applicants must reside in the Murray Dairy Region. 
  • The applicant must be a dairy farmer;
  • The applicant must demonstrate a strong commitment to the dairy industry;
  • The applicant must report to the Industry Steering Group on outcomes of the Scholarship.
  • The Murray Dairy Board will select the successful candidate.

Scholarship Winners:

2010 Recipient, Jamie Snell studied  a comparison of European Dairy Farmers' Cost of Production with Northern Victorian Dairy Farming.
