australian-dairy-conference-scholarship: Murray Dairy

Australian Dairy Conference Scholarship

Murray Dairy together with Dairy Australia is sponsoring one young dairy farmer (18 – 40 years) from the Murray Dairy Region to attend the 2011 Australian Dairy Conference in Busselton, Western Australia from February 22 – 24.

The scholarship provides the successful applicant with $2000 to cover accommodation and airfare to the Dairy Innovators Forum.

The Australian Dairy Conference will provide a complimentary registration to the successful applicant who may also wish extend their stay (at their own cost) and participate in the pre and post conference tours.

2010 Scholarship recipient, Tom Acocks:

“I gained a great deal from the week long conference, and found that I learnt just as much from sparking up a conversation with a person sitting beside me as to listening to a presentation”

“Challenging ideas were explored whilst also demonstrating what a positive industry we have despite uncertain and trying economic conditions”.

Farmers interested in applying for the scholarship need to complete an application form and return it to Murray Dairy by Friday 14th January 2011.
