All dairy farmers and industry members are invited to attend a free forum focusing on herd fertility and human resource management issues. The forum will be held on Tuesday 29th June at Tocumwal Golf Club, commencing at 10 am. Morning tea and lunch will be supplied.
Key note speakers Rob Bonanno and Scott Rathbone will speak on a range of issues pertinent to dairy farm operation including Herd Fertility, Human Resource Management and the interaction between these two issues.
Rob Bonanno, a leading veterinarian and dairy farmer is the 2006 Greenham’s Scholarship Winner with a specialist knowledge in large herd issues including fertility, herd health and nutrition. Rob completed a masters level training program for veterinarians in dairy cattle health, nutrition and herd management and was appointed the Adjunct Associate Professor of Large Animal Clinical Science by University of Michigan Veterinary College.
Scott Rathbone has 19 years experience working in the dairy industry both as a consultant and a dairy farmer. He has expertise in all aspects of dairy farm management including ruminant nutrition, pasture management, herd fertility, human resource management, and large herd management, business planning and group facilitation.
